The ReadSpeaker® Expanding Player displays a listen-button on your web pages. When the user clicks the button, the player as well as a download mp3 link are dynamically inserted into the page next to the listen-button.

With ReadSpeaker® Expanding Player, the full player and additional controls are only visible to users who actually choose to click on the listen button. This implementation allows your visitors to either select the text that should be read or just click the listen-button to hear the full text content. It is also possible to insert advertisements or other messages to the user in the expanded area.

Additionally you can choose to implement Embedded Highlighting. Embedded Highlighting is an add-on for the ReadSpeaker® Enterprise™ product package “Expanding Player”. Embedded Highlighting enables the website visitor to see synchronized highlighting of the text that is currently being read, on a word by word and/or sentence by sentence basis depending on the setting that the website visitor has selected.

This implementation allows your visitors to either select the text that should be read or just click the listen-button to hear the full text content. The playback is done from a small player window that automatically opens when the listen-button is clicked on.
