Adding ReadSpeaker® proReader™ to your web site simply consists in adding a small piece of HTML code onto your site. It's as easy as that!

How does ReadSpeaker® proReader™ work for the end user?

With ReadSpeaker® proReader™, the user can personalize the proReader™ experience to suit his/her individual needs.

When a user clicks the listen-button on a web page, a small window opens up, containing the player, a link to download the audio file in mp3 format and a link to select if the text that is being read should be shown or hidden. There is also a top menu where the user can choose to change settings, learn more about proReader™ or send feedback about it.

A unique feature of ReadSpeaker® proReader™ is that the user can decide to activate the highlighting of the text being spoken and can customise how this highlighting should be shown (by word and/or by phrase).

The user can also personalize the ReadSpeaker® proReader™ experience by setting the speed of the voice, the background and text appearance, and the font size and face.

If the user selects text on the page using his mouse or other input device prior to selecting the listen-button, only the selected text will be read and shown. This makes it possible for the user to select exactly what text from the page he/she wishes to listen to. This function requires that the user uses a web browser that has support for JavaScript.
