Key Account Manager

Are you passionate about creating value for users, building long-term relationships and making a real difference in the world of education? ReadSpeaker is growing – and we are now looking for a Key Account Manager to take on a key role in our Nordic sales team with a focus on Education.
This is a role for someone who enjoys working where technology meets pedagogy, who loves meeting people at fairs and events, and who has a natural flair for service, structure, and consultative sales.
About the role
As a Key Account Manager, you are responsible for developing, nurturing, and growing our customer relationships within the education sector in the Nordics. You will primarily work with municipalities, schools, education providers, and other organisations focused on accessibility and learning.
You will also play an important role in launching new products and act as our face outward at fairs and events, where you explain why accessibility matters and how ReadSpeaker makes a difference in students’ everyday lives.
This is a role where you both get to shine on stage and be the one driving business in the CRM system. Initially, you will manage 50–100 customers and work closely with our colleagues in the Nordics, EMEA, and globally.
A thorough onboarding awaits you – and you will join our experienced sales reps for your first customer meetings and events. The sales team currently consists, in addition to this role, of two Key Account Managers and a Sales Administrator.
Your responsibilities
You will, among other things:
- Drive consultative B2B sales within the Education focus area
- Develop existing customers and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Conduct customer meetings – both online and on-site
- Attend education fairs and events (2–3 per half-year)
- Follow up on contracts, renewals, and administration related to your customers
- Work in our CRM and contribute to good structure and process in the sales pipeline
We believe you are someone who:
- Has experience in B2B sales
- Is curious, confident in customer dialogue, and likes to understand the customer’s “why”
- Has an interest in user experience and accessibility
- Is structured and enjoys working in an organised way
- Is social and technically curious
To succeed in this role, you need:
- Experience in B2B sales
- Good computer skills
- Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written
It is also an advantage if you have:
- Experience from the education sector or edtech
- Experience with accessibility products or working close to end users
- Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems
- Finnish or another Nordic language
- An IT-related education

- Location: Our office is located in central Uppsala
- Travel: Fairs and customer visits across the Nordics
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Scope: Full-time, with an initial probationary period
- Salary: Fixed salary + variable component
