The latest version of our read-aloud tool ReadSpeaker webReader fully meets the accessibility guidelines of WCAG 2.1. If you are still using our older read-aloud tool, ReadSpeaker Enterprise Highlighting, contact your account manager and move to webReader within your subscription, free of charge and without difficulty.
Do you not have a read-aloud tool yet? A few lines of code are all it takes to install webReader.
ReadSpeaker webReader is now even easier to use and ready for the future. It works on every device and in every browser, and it has many extra features.
The biggest changes in webReader:
- A new, simplified listen button, player and toolbar.
- While the text is being read aloud, the web page now scrolls along with it automatically.
- webReader can show web content as a simplified text version, which strips out every extra distraction. Many people find a text easier to read that way.
- When you select text, a pop-up menu appears with a listen button and options to translate the text or look the selected word up in the dictionary.
- The translation option, in 18 languages, helps you reach an international audience with ease.
