Accessibility for the Canvas learning environment means making sure that content is accessible by all students, including students with disabilities. More than just a screen reader for those with physical disabilities, accessibility addresses all content, even rich content, so that any student can access any course content.
ReadSpeaker for Canvas allows administrators to provide accessible, speech-enhanced content for all students as well as those needing IEPs or other accommodations. Inclusive learning tools level the playing field for all learners and improve learning outcomes for all.
We knew this tool worked; we knew that it was reliable, and we knew that it was a single tool that could meet the needs of a variety of learners.

If it’s not easy and intuitive students won’t find it and use it. I think that is why you have seen such a large number of students starting to use it as they are finding it on their own. I mean it says ‘Listen’, how much easier can you get. The general record, play pause icons make it intuitive to other technology that people may have used.
