ReadSpeaker docReader becomes the new and best choice for viewing documents on the web

ReadSpeaker has released the new version of docReader, its solution for viewing and listening to documents, for online content owners.

Uppsala, April 9, 2014. A new version of ReadSpeaker's widely used solution for viewing and listening to documents, ReadSpeaker docReader, was launched today with additional features and a major improvement in performance. The new ReadSpeaker product is considered one of the best tools currently available for making the reading of, and listening to, online documents such as PDF files and others as easy as possible. Website owners can now also redesign docReader to suit their needs.

The new version of ReadSpeaker docReader enables online content owners to provide their readers or website visitors with an easy-to-use reader for documents and files that handles every type of document, without the need to download or add any supporting software. docReader, which works online, meets the need of online content owners to display and present their documents to their readers and website visitors, reaching millions of users. ReadSpeaker considers this release its first release for reading and displaying documents online, designed primarily to handle a huge number of documents at the same time, and it supports most of the devices used to browse the internet. Online content owners can now simply use docReader as their main tool for displaying their online documents to all their readers and website visitors.

The docReader interface has been completely rebuilt, opening up many new ways to market a brand: website owners can now add their own logo and release solutions that carry their brand. The new configuration and customization options give website users a better ability to interact with it and to control the reading options, including downloading the audio version of the document.

Users can now smoothly choose either to read the text of the document or to listen to it, in full or only the paragraph that interests them, from any device connected to the internet, thanks to the many ways of selecting text and moving between the pages of the document. Navigating between the pages of the document with thumbnails is not the only way: PDF documents that contain an outline can also be navigated through their table of contents.

The major performance improvements, which include the dynamic loading of thumbnails and pages, together with the extensive use of HTML5, have made this release of docReader noticeably faster. In addition, the new touch-ready interface works better on the touch screens of mobile devices.

“This improved release of ReadSpeaker docReader offers our customers an easy way to make their online documents available to their users in different formats, whatever device they use. In this way we offer a richer, easy-to-use and accessible experience, while giving them, our customers or their users, control over that experience,” says Niclas Bergström, CEO of ReadSpeaker.
