British Weight Lifting enhances its Moodle-based learning platform with ReadSpeaker's text-to-speech technology, making online training more inclusive, engaging, and accessible for all learners.
The challenge and solution
Inclusivity is one of BWL’s core principles. With learners from a whole range of sporting/coaching backgrounds, providing online learning which is accessible for all is key.

BWL uses the Moodle platform to deliver the online elements of its programmes. As ReadSpeaker is a Moodle Certified Integration Partner, seamless integration of text to speech across content and training materials was easy to implement and has helped to make BWL’s courses more accessible, engaging and inclusive for all learners.
The result
As soon as learners log into BWL’s learning platform, the ReadSpeaker listen button and easy-to-use accompanying study tools are available. The tools are available across the platform, adding support to all content, whether it be PDFs, images, web pages or tests, giving the user a seamless audio experience.
Many learners have thanked the association for providing text to speech as it has made their learning experience easier and more effective.

The integration of ReadSpeaker with Moodle was simple for BWL’s IT team, and working with ReadSpeaker has been “easy and helpful”, with any questions being addressed quickly.
